Of course, halfway through our walk with Rohan, since we were looping back towards my house, I spotted a loose dog doing laps around the pond. sigh Turin was not happy about being left behind and had dug a hole under the kennel fence. He was down at my parents' house and Gambit was doing laps around the pond. So a slightly abbreviated walk and then kennel fixing in the afternoon!
