Gambit is one of the three dogs I can let free run around the house for a few minutes. He's done it several times since I started hanging fence on the new kennel, so imagine my surprise when I hear a THUD one evening. I rush to the window and see the kennel posts vibrating.
Did he just run into the fencing? I wondered.
Gambit was at the door and I let him in. He didn't really want me to touch his head, but I didn't see any cuts or damage so I figured he must have run into the kennel and his head was now a little sore. Understandable.
Today I really stopped to look at the kennel fencing and this is what I found:

Ouch! You can actually see where Gambit's head hit.
Now I need to fix it before I extend the kennel any further this way... Hopefully Gambit has learned from this and will avoid the fencing next to the porch in the future!
